The Jo Short Brim Palmilla is a comfortable straw hat designed with Palmilla straw for a lightweight fit. Finished with a grosgrain band, brim taping, and metal headwear plaque, this one is great for taking on adventures or dressing up any everyday look. And thanks to the hidden size adjuster under the sweatband, there's no stress on choosing sizing. If you're not sure which size to choose, we recommend sizing up to enable the size adjuster to create a customized fit.
Palmilla straw is endemic to Northwestern Mexico where it is native to Durango, Sinaloa, and Sonora states. The leaves are harvested, sorted, dried, and stripped into increasingly fine widths and then woven in a basketweave pattern. The straw is softer and much lighter weight than most palms and makes a beautiful weave.

We would love to offer free shipping, but most orders cost us around $10 to ship and we can't absorb all of that cost like Amazon can. Standard shipping is free for orders over $75. And most orders under $75 pay just $6.95 for standard shipping. Standard shipping orders will ship via USPS or UPS Ground. We will choose the best and most economical delivery method for your order. Currently we do not ship internationally other than Canada, but we recommend https://www.shopusa.com/ for our international customers. Most orders of San Diego Surf Co. logo items will ship the next business day from San Diego, California. Orders of surf brand items will take a few days to ship. Don’t worry if everything doesn’t show up at once, some items may ship separately. Please keep in mind that deliveries to the East Coast can take up to 7 business days.
Returns & Exchanges
All San Diego Surf Co. merchandise is unconditionally guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please let us know so we can take care of you. All returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase. Once the item is received by us a refund will be credited back to your original method of payment, and will post approximately three days after the date of processing. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement. If the item is defective or shipped incorrectly we will email you a UPS return label at our expense. You will need to hand the package to a UPS driver or UPS store. If you changed your mind and would like to return the item you can return it to one of our store locations or send it back to us at your expense. Please contact us for a return authorization number and shipping address prior to returning any merchandise.
